Welcome to our website for our development proposals at Church Road, Ivinghoe, incorporating new homes, green space and associated footpath/highways improvements.

In September 2021, Cala submitted a planning application to deliver 72 homes on the site, following consultation with the community and council. These proposals including private and affordable housing tailored to meet local needs, improvements to the B488 / B489 junction (incorporated as a result of our consultation) and a host of other benefits.

Buckinghamshire Council refused this application, and Cala has now thus resubmitted revised proposals taking into account the further feedback from this process.

The changes made to the proposals include:

• Reduction in the overall number of units from 72 to 68 to improve private and public amenity space and reduce the density of the proposals. This will include 51 open market homes and 17 affordable homes
• Creation of a larger, central green space which includes equipped play provision
• Revised soft landscaping scheme to improve residential amenity and security
• Structural landscaping and planting to screen and filter views of the development site
• Extension of off-site highways improvements to include widening of the western footway on Church Road towards Ivinghoe
• Further new footpath links to enhance connectivity from Ivinghoe to Ivinghoe Beacon
• Offsite highways improvements to reprioritise the B488 / B489
• Creation of new and improvement of existing pedestrian footways and crossing points on the B488 and B489
